Start by cutting the can vertically into two halves, I used a dremel with an abrasive disk. Tin snips would also do the trick. I also cut the opening vertically to have a slot for a punty. Use the can half to trace a template onto your piece of wood, twice so you can make two legs. Cut out the legs with a jig saw. Run a bead of hot glue down the length of the leg and press the can in, repeat for the second leg. Fill the tray with frit and it's ready to go!
